Overview
The London Borough of Bexley are looking to invite prospective providers to a market engagement event for the community sexual health service.
This will be an informal event where you can meet like-minded colleagues but primarily it will be used to help us gather information from yourselves in developing a modern and appropriate specification for residents of the borough. Our current thoughts around the specification are shown below.
Summary of requirements
• This event is for information gathering and intended to assist the Council in understanding the level and range of service provider interest in delivering this service.
• The provider will be required to deliver sexual health services to include;
o Distribution of condoms
o Youth outreach and engagement
o Limited access to chlamydia screening and testing for vulnerable groups
o Website and communications
o Training multidisciplinary staff
• The provider will be expected to work with existing partners across Bexley and neighbouring boroughs.
• The successful provider must be innovative, flexible, responsive, forward thinking, adaptable, and a leader in the field.
• Any information gathered does not commit the Council or respondents to a future procurement (nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest) and accordingly any subsequent procurement may use an entirely different model to the one described in the meeting.
• External attendees and their organisations shall have no claim to any intellectual property rights which may be created in connection with matters discussed.
Contract period
