II.1.4) Short description
Conduct a competitive procurement process in respect of a single specification for the supply of various community equipment and adaptations related services, divided into the following four individual or combined lots and the associated number of individual or combined contracts:
i. Lot 1: Community equipment servicing, maintenance, and repair services.
ii. Lot 2: Installation, support maintenance, removal, and collection services in respect of ceiling track hoist equipment.
iii. Lot 3: Installation, support, maintenance, removal and collection services in respect of modular ramping equipment.
iv. Lot 4: General minor works: comprising installation and removal services in respect of minor aids and adaptations, together with minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry works.
The proposed contract shall continue for an initial period of 3 years and include an option to extend its term for a further period of 4 years.
2. Award contracts for each lot or combined lots to the preferred tenderer; and
Determine whether to exercise the option to extend the term of such contract for a further period of not more than 2+2 years on the expiry of the initial 3-year term.
Conduct a competitive procurement process in respect of up to 4 separate lots delivered as single contracts or combined lots and contracts for the supply of community equipment and adaptations related services. The proposed contract shall continue for an initial period of 3 years and include options to extend its term for two further periods of 2 years on its third and fifth anniversaries respectively (ie, 3+2+2 years).

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Community Equipment – preventative maintenance, inspection and repair service will cover both the resident and registrant population of the county of Gloucestershire. This means that individuals will either live within the county boundary and/or be registered with a Gloucestershire GP within the area covered by the Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (One Gloucestershire). Therefore, any CE connected with the provision of the service, shall and could be located at any address within Gloucestershire and beyond the county boundary. The Provider will provide an equitable service across and beyond the County, for adults and children's equipment regardless of cost, type of equipment or location.
