Description of the goods or services required

The appointment of a lead consultancy service provider by Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB under the current NEC 4 Professional Services Short Form of Contract (PSSC). Details within this fee documentation will reflect the Contract Particulars of the above PSSC under which the successful lead consultancy service provider shall be expected to tender their fee bid, in order to successfully deliver the Capital Scheme (the Works) as described within this documentation, following the Royal Institute of British Architects Construction Stages 1-7 (RIBA) inclusive.

• Home Treatment Room 110 - to remain unaltered,

• Existing Section 136 Suite, Room 197 - to be converted to the new Cleaner’s room,

• Existing Office, Room 108 - to be converted to a ‘Facility Waiting Area’

• Existing Reception, Room EDG4 - to be enlarged slightly & converted into an Interview/Assessment Room for up to 6 people,

• Cleaner’s Room 1, Room 109 - to be converted into a small Interview / Assessment room for up to 4 people,

• Cleaner’s Room 2, Room 100 - to be enlarged slightly & converted into a new reception area.

Design/construction of new build (under 100sq.m maximum) as per the attached sketches.

• Parking for 1 police vehicle & discrete covered entrance,

• Police Entrance Interlock - 7.6sqm.,

• Secure Police Patient Handover Area – 20sqm.,
