Abstract

Urgent award notice under the Provider Selection Regime 2023 for the provision of 11+ Stammering Service in mid Essex area of NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (herein referred to as 'the Authority').

The award must be made urgently in order to provide continuity of care. There is significant risk that if this award was not made there would be an impact on this cohort of patients to their health and outcome of a good transition between key stages in a child's education and development. The reason for the urgency was not foreseeable by and is not attributable to the relevant authority and delaying the award to conduct a full application of the PSR would be likely to pose a risk to the patients.
