We aim to use existing infrastructure, resources, knowledge and networks to develop the Circular Economy on Anglesey and Gwynedd.
We work across 3 workstreams as follows;
Workstream 1: : Supporting FFIWS Spaces
The following organisations are founding partners of this scheme and receive funds to deliver in these spaces.

Workstream 2 : Cylchol Grants (Gwynedd only)
A fund for businesses and community enterprises to develop their business alongside adding value to local FFIWS makerspaces;
1. Ideas that consider waste management, beyond recycling, through use, reuse and repair, or bringing new life or meaning to a material or service
2. Ideas that support a strong sharing economy, communities working together and sharing resources
3. Ideas that maximize the value of local resources or amenities through a feasibility study or pilot programme
4. Ideas that share skills and support community cohesion
5. Ideas that support efforts to reduce supply chains, reduce carbon emissions, or support a sustainable business model
Workstream 3: Pilar Projects
A range of sectors are relevant to the development of the Circular Economy in Gwynedd and Ynys Môn. These are called pillars because they offer us an outlet that bridges and applies to both counties. Below are sector priorities, and we anticipate a need to procure expertise to deliver the following;
1. Fashion
2. Arts
3. Training
Technician support is required to run the following workshops –
- Upholstery
- Textiles
- Bike repair training
At Ffiws locations across Anglesey and Gwynedd
