Please see below, information regarding a technical event being held by University of Sheffield/AMRC & Sellafield Ltd on the 20th of January 2026 relating to the Sellafield 3m3 Waste Containers. This event is purely a technical discussion regarding design and prototype method of manufacture. As such, no tender/commercial information will be shared or discussed. The aim of this forum is to establish the strengths and potential concerns of the latest 3m3 box design, while also gaining a clear understanding of the manufacturing methods that can be deployed.

There is a limited number of spaces available on the day and so we would suggest that no more than two representatives from each company attend to maximise benefit.

All information from this event will be shared on Atamis Ref: C26453 following the event taking place.
