Somerset Council is intending to award a contract for the provision of the Somerset Specialist All Age Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C of the Provider Selection Regime.

The lifetime value of the contract is: £32,159,276

The contract duration is: 01.04.2026 - 31.03.2029 (with the option to extend for up to a further 3 year period (1 + 1 + 1))

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight at the end of the day on 27.01.2026.
