Natural Flood Management work in Llanarmon yn Ial

Description of the goods or services required

A total of £12,480 (including VAT)for screening, scoping, permitting and delivery of a series of at least 20 Leaky Woody Structures along a 750m section of a tributary of the River Alyn in Llanarmon yn Ial, as part of Natural Flood Management Works. All work to be completed by 31 March 2026.

Total quantity or scope of tender

A total fixed sum of £12,480 (inclusive of VAT) is available for the installation of Natural Flood Management Management measures in Llanarmon yn Ial. Work includes:

1. Site assessment and scoping of works, including justification for intervention.

2. Screening of works against flood-risk with reference to topography, soil type, surface flow and gradient.

3. Screening for Protected Sites, Invasive Non-Native Species, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Protected Species.

4. Obtaining all necessary permits and permissions including Ordinary Watercourse Consent and Felling Licence if required.

5. Construction of minimum 20 Leaky Woody Structures and related NFM measures as appropriate along a 750m stretch of tributary (order 1 and 2 streams).

6. All work to be completed by 31 March 2026.
