II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The intention is that this procurement would cover the broad requirements to provide services to enable the operation of the regional spokes and in turn support the wider objectives of the veterans mental health and wellbeing pathway. The contract would be to cover services across Scotland but will recognise the planned vision for NHS Scotland to move to a subnational structure, split into 2 regions.

We anticipate that the provider of the regional spoke would be required to collaborate with existing third sector and statutory providers of services to ensure that veterans can receive the tailored care and support they need from the most appropriate provider.
