Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (which runs the London Fire Brigade) requires a Contractor with expertise in the deep cleaning of kitchens to deliver services to approximately 122 Fire Stations and other associated offices in the Greater London Area. Each of the premises will be cleaned on a three monthly basis involving the thorough and hygienic clean of all areas and items of equipment present in kitchens.

It is free to register and bidders should receive notification of acceptance of their registration within 48 hours. Please be aware emails from the Portal may be quarantined by email filters.

The contracting authority reserves the right at any time to cease this tendering process and not to award a contract.

The contracting authority, at its absolute discretion, may wish to extend the contract for a further period or periods up to an aggregate of 24 months.

Proceedings may not be brought unless the economic operator bringing the proceedings has informed the contracting authority of the breach or anticipated breach of duty owed to it by the contracting authority and of its intention to bring proceedings and unless those proceedings are brought promptly, and in any event within 3 months from the date when grounds for the bringing of proceedings first arise, unless the Court considers that there is good reason for extending the period within which proceedings can be brought.
