Interpretation plan for Gilfach Nature Reserve

Description of the goods or services required

Radnorshire Wildlife Trust has been awarded a development grant by HLF to develop a project at Gilfach Nature Reserve, nr Rhayader, Powys. As part of this we wish to appoint an interpretation consultant to review and plan and cost interpretation provision to realise the reserve's potential for inspiring people about its diverse natural and cultural heritage.

We are inviting tenders from consultants with experience of both interpretative strategy preparation and implementation.

Total quantity or scope of tender

This is a fixed price contract of £8000+ VAT.

The budget for interpretation is £20,000.

The overall aim of the contract is to produce a costed interpretation/information plan for Gilfach which will form the basis for the stage 2 bid to the Heritage Lottery.

We will need a draft plan by 23rd October 2015 with completion on 13th November 2015. We will be making the next application to HLF on 7th December 2015.
