Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The successful tenderer will be required to provide caretaking and cleaning services at Monmouth Comprehensive School.

The contract will commence on 1.4.2015 for a period of 3 years.

This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision.

We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE / FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within Wales, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term.

The scope of the contract covers all caretaking and cleaning provision within the School.

The successful contractor will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month thus updating the senior management team within Monmouth Comprehensive School on the contract performance.

The projected cost of cleaning for the current year is 140 000 GBP.

During the course of this contract the following feeder schools may join this contract:

— Trellech Primary School,

— Osbaston Primary School,

— Raglan Primary School,

— Cross Ash Primary School,

— Llandogo Primary School.

The scope of services would be the same as for Monmouth Comprehensive School, however on a smaller scale.

The approximate annual value of these additional Schools is 130 000 GBP.
