Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Churchill Academy and Sixth Form.
The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the Academy, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.
The current catering contract value is a 3 000 GBP return per annum.
The contract being offered is for three years which commences on 1.8.2015 and concludes on 31.7.2018 and will be on a guaranteed performance basis.
It is expected that the successful contractor will work very closely with the Academy and engage with the curriculum moving forwards into this contract term, whilst utilising the local suppliers for all fresh produce which shall include meat, fruit and vegetables, dairy produce and bakery.
We wish to make some changes to the service provision within the Academy during the course of this contract term and the successful contractor will be required to provide both innovation and ideas on how this might be achieved. This might to include additional service points and an improved sixth form offer.
Currently the catering provision is provided from three kitchens and restaurants and through a servery within the sixth form.
