Abstract

Minesto is developing a 500kW tidal power plant in form of a “flying” kite tethered to the sea bottom. Minesto is looking for a supplier of a tether Rope that will attached the kite to the bottom joint. The tether should be comprised of a poly-urethane fairing enclosing a fibre load-carrier, power cables, optical fibre signal cables and sensors.

Since the Minesto office is closed during w. 29-31, and questions have been sent in which we can't answer until w.32 when we are back in office again, we have decided to prolong the submission time one week, until 12th of August instead.

16/08/2016 12:40	Deadline passed for submission of tenders to Minesto Dear interested parties. The deadline for the ITT regarding Tether rope has now passed. We are happy to see that there are some tenders. Unfortunately there is 2 tenders that is not completely submitted. Its Sell2Wales ID 48647 and 49328. From experience, we know that this can happen because a supplier who is new to Sell2Wales misunderstands the user interface or forgets to click a red button named “Dispatch”. Could you please check if you have uploaded a response to Sell2Wales with these ID´s! And if you have, please either Dispatch your response today or inform Minesto that you do not intend to submit it. Tomorrow morning we will open the postbox and close the opportunity. If you have technical questions on how to find the Dispatch button, the Sell2Wales support are happy to help you.
