II.2.4) Description of the procurement
To replace the fleet of multifunctional devices under lease agreements for the sites of Lincolnshire County Council. The contract has been awarded following a further competition exercise using Lot 2 of the CCS Framework Ref RM1599 — Multifunctional Devices and Services, Managed Print Services and Print Audit Services.
The contract will be let for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for 2 further period(s) of 1 year up to a maximum contract period of 5 years.
The decision to award the contract was made on 26.7.2016 and the anticipated contract start date is 29.8.2016.

The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive
Explanation
The contract has been awarded under a Framework administered by The Crown Commercial Service. The Framework reference number is RM1599 and is entitled Multifunctional Devices and Services, Managed Print Services and Print Audit Services. Lot 2 entitled Full Catalogue of MFDs and Services was utilised. The Framework was extended for a 6 month period beyond the term originally provided for in February 2016 and now expires on 31.8.2016. The extension is considered to be a modification permitted under Regulation 72(1)(e) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
