LG Inform is the Local Government Associations on-line data and benchmarking service which presents local authorities and fire and rescue services (FRS) with up to date published data about their local area and the performance of their council or FRS. The majority of this data is also available to be viewed by the public. The LG inform service provides a simple user interface (website) to interrogate over 4 000 data items covering +400 organisations. Users can search for information or produce standard or, when registered, bespoke reports that can easily be accessed and shared by many.

The IDeA LG Inform team is seeking a technical provider with in depth experience in digital communications across the following areas:
Software development.
Technical Support and expertise.
Consultancy services.
Management of Hosting Arrangements.
Data and database design and management.
Additionally suppliers should be able to evidence recent project work that demonstrates their skills and capability in accessing and presenting data via the integration of high performing websites to large scale database services plus having this experience in a local government setting.
