The cleaning service in each school is to include a full term-time daily clean Monday to Friday and periodic deep cleans throughout the year.
The catering service is to include the supply of hot school lunches, breakfast and morning break food services. Hospitality food services will be required occasionally potentially outside of the normal service hours. The aim of the new catering service will be to improve the quality of meals offered, increase take up of school lunches by making them more attractive than a packed lunch option and to promote healthy eating. Each school is equipped with it's own fit for purpose catering kitchen and serving areas.
Cleaning and Catering contracts are being awarded separately to each school individually.
