Abstract
The requirement is for a NEC3 Supervisor for the construction stage of the Cardigan Integrated Care Centre.
The new Integrated Care Centre will replace the existing Cardigan Memorial Hospital, and Cardigan Health Centre, and is planned to be built on a sloping site on the western outskirts of Cardigan town for the Hywel Dda University Health Board. Modern third sector, health and social care services for the local population will be centralized in this new, purpose built facility which will create better opportunities for inter-agency collaboration. The new Care Centre will include a GP practice, a community pharmacy, community dental services, outpatient therapy services, a minor injury unit, and diagnostic services. Health and social care staff will also use the centre as a locality base. The scheme also includes a new access road, car parking, and landscaping.
The Integrated Care Centre will have a gross internal area of 3,170 sqm over three storeys.
The Site is located at Bath House Road, Cardigan, CEREDIGION, SA43 1JD.
The main construction contract is NEC3 Option C – Target Price with Activity Schedule.
