Bombora is seeking suppliers for the design, fabrication and delivery of an air turbine for its mWave Wave Energy Converter Demonstrator project.
The supply is for a circa 1.5MW peak unidirectional air turbine and associated duct work including output shaft with dynamic seal suitable for 12 months subsea deployment.

Minimum standards and qualification required
The bidder must be able to demonstrate competence in the area of providing large scale air turbines. The bidder should hold professional indemnity or product liability insurance, or similar, of at least £ 0.5 million.
Bidders will be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement prior to the issue of tender documents
