The Space for Smarter Government Programme (SSGP) resides within the UK Space Agency’s Growth Directorate. It is a national programme, established in 2014, which is designed to stimulate uptake of space services and data within the UK Public Sector. The UKSA wishes to acquire access to archive high resolution (sub 5 metre) geospatial datasets over the UK, to be obtained primarily from remote sensing satellites (EO data), to facilitate ongoing UKSA Activities, including but not exclusive to:
— Projects,
— Data Challenges,
— Application Hackathons.
The UKSA require access to high resolution archive data over the entire UK land mass and coastal/littoral areas comprising of:
— Optical / Multispectral,
— Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
The maximum value of this opportunity is 750 000 GBP. The maximum value of the opportunity for Lot 1 is 450 000 GBP and for Lot 2 is 300 000 GBP. Any bids received which exceeds the individual maximum Lot value, or combined maximum value, will not be considered.

The UKSA wishes to procure the best overall mixture of:
— maximum geographical coverage over the UK including its coastal regions,
— maximum number of different resolutions,
— most extensive time series available,
— for the best value price:
—— High Resolution (<5m) multispectral data,
—— Max 15 % cloud cover or better,
—— Minimum of 4 spectral bands expected.
The maximum value of this opportunity is 750 000 GBP. The maximum value of the opportunity for Lot 1 is 450 000 GBP and for Lot 2 is 300 000 GBP. Any bids received which exceeds the individual maximum Lot value, or combined maximum value, will not be considered.
