NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Wandsworth Borough Council (WBC) have a role in helping to build the capacity and infrastructure of voluntary organisations within Wandsworth to strategically connect and involve them in local decision-making structures. The CCG in partnership with the Council are looking for a suitably experienced organisation for the provision of a service which delivers strategic representation, development and capacity building for the voluntary and community sector to enable it to become more sustainable, effective and strategically engaged with the local priorities of the CCG, the Council and their partners.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (the ‘Contracting Authority’) is offering a contract, in partnership with the London Borough of Wandsworth, to the successful bidder to provide strategic representation, development and capacity building for the voluntary and community sector to enable it to become more sustainable, effective and strategically engaged with the local priorities of the CCG, Council and their partners.
The primary focus of the enhanced voluntary sector coordination service is to meet local health and social care priorities through a service which provides strategic representation, development and capacity building for voluntary and community organisations, enabling the third sector to become more sustainable, effective and strategically engaged with the local priorities of the CCG, WBC and their partners. This service will also be provided to other service related sectors including but not limited to health and social care, culture, leisure, children and family services and environment.
