Abstract

NIE Networks has a requirement to maintain a safe and roadworthy fleet. As part of this obligation it is necessary to carry out timely and proper repairs to vehicles that have been damaged as a result of accident. NIE Networks wishes to enter into a Framework Agreement with a contractor for this requirement.

One Framework Agreement will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) for a period of 3 years with the option to extend (entirely at NIE Networks sole discretion) for up to 2 further periods, the first extension period will be for up to 3 years and the second and final extension period will be for up to 2 years (8 years in total). The estimated value range (excluding VAT) of the tender is as follows:

3-year value: up to 340 000 GBP;

6-year value: up to 675 000 GBP;

8-year value: up to 900 000 GBP.
