The existing chairlift that is used to convey wheelchair users between the ground floor and the lower level ground floor requires to be replaced.

The contract is for the supply and installation of the new chairlift.

Minimum standards and qualification required

All equipment must meet relevant European safety and quality standards and installation must be completed by an appropriately trained and qualified/accredited installer.

It will be necessary to undertake a site visit before submitting the tender - in order to obtain measurements and undertake a proper assessment of the site.

All tenders must be submitted by hard copy in a sealed addressed envelope marked CONFIDENTIAL TENDERING PROCESS - TO BE OPENED ONLY BY THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL
