Abstract

SGN will partner with 1 supplier who will assist in sourcing and engaging with non-gas heated properties suitable for new gas connections (through the FPNES Fuel Poor Network Extension Scheme which SGN brands Help to Heat) within the locality of an existing gas network in England and Scotland. SGN can support with the provision of a mapping tool to support and identify areas of a high propensity areas.

The principal activity will be to deliver a targeted amount of connections through resident self-referral, partner projects and under their own activity. They will refer households with the installation of any other appropriate measures, such as loft and cavity wall insulation, accessing any and all available funding such as ECO in order to achieve as close to a fully-funded solution as possible.

To achieve the above, activities of the awarded contractor will include (but not limited to):

— collating information to assess eligibility of individuals against (FPNES),

— providing telephone application and advice services to identify eligible households and supporting individuals from ‘cradle to grave’ of process for those who participate,

— marketing and promoting the scheme in local areas as targeted by the mapping tool and also to engage with local authorities, associations and providers,

— collating resident feedback, preparing case studies and producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports,

— providing accurate and timely assistance to SGN stakeholders at all times.

target/delivery:

For South/South-East England:

A. delivery of up to 400 connections where the referral is through SGN direct marketing activity or residents choose to self-refer;

B. delivery of up to 500 connections which are generated through partner projects as referenced in (1(g)) above.

The activities laid out in 1 shall be undertaken as part of the provider’s work to achieve the following target:

C. delivery of at least 800 connections through leads generated by the provider’s own activity, as referenced in (1(f)) above.

Scotland:

Delivery up to 300 approved eligible connections.
