The contract will be awarded on an annual rolling basis for a period of up to 5 years

The Health Board wish to award the contract for an Trans abdominal training system to Medaphor Limited to avoid disruption to the training schedules for new students coming through the NIAW. There has been an increase in students since the NIAW has opened and there is a need to expand the training facilities.The choice of units was based on the simulation models currently used by NIAW. The addition of the same units will ensure consistency in training, assessment & research. No other systems were considered as need for consistency is vital.
