II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Southern Water Services Ltd (SWS) requires a MOCOPA and Elexon Registered Meter Operator (MOP) to become a framework provider to provide services to our ever changing portfolio of currently 2 500+ meters which consists of Half Hourly (HH), Non Half Hourly (NHH) Automated Meter Reading (AMR) meters (current 'dumb' meters are not included in the scope). All meters in the portfolio are currently privately owned by SWS.
The scope to include:
• maintaining SWS's private meter portfolio;
• fault resolution for metering issues;
• installation of new meters/recertification that meet legislative and SWS requirements;
• scheduling of site visits for metering faults and manual meter reads;
• data collector (DC) and data aggregator (DA) services for SWS and SWS's nominated electricity suppliers;
• associated energy efficiency/optimisation services/innovation (including Project Management);
• other general MOP services.
