Jisc has entered into a contract with h IHS Global Ltd for the construction information service (CIS). This is an expert knowledge tool that delivers key technical information for construction projects in a streamlined web-based package. Info4education is the IHS education platform providing access to standards, regulatory,product and supplier information on construction, health and safety and engineering from organisations across the world. The agreement covers the following:
IHS Info4education — Construction information service;
IHS Info4education — Construction information service (Without British Standards);
IHS Info4education — Engineer-it;
IHS Info4education — Occupational health and safety information service;
IHS Info4education — Occupational health and safety information service (Without British Standards);
IHS Info4education — Portal (all products);
IHS Info4education — Specify-it;
IHS Info4education Quotation based pricing;
IHS Info4education combined.
These services are not for Jisc's own use but will be offered to members on an annual or 3-year service basis.

Justification for selected award procedure:
The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: procurement aiming at the creation or acquisition of a unique work of art or artistic performance
Explanation
The supplier, IHS Global Ltd, is the rightsholder and only publisher of this unique content. Jisc is clear that the arrangement falls within the artistic derogation, contained within Regulation 32(2) (b) (iii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, permitting Jisc to enter into the direct award.
