II.1.4) Short description
1) The BHC is responsible to the British Government for all aspects of the relationship between partner country and the United Kingdom, including the management of political relations; trade policy; visa and entry clearance services for those wanting to travel to the UK; and providing consular assistance and protection for British citizens.
2) The British High Commission (BHC) intends to have fully comprehensive annual maintenance contract for security gates and Barriers installed at the BHC and BDHCs India Network (vehicle blocking systems — gates/blockers/ bollards and pedestrian doors). The contract duration for the said services shall be for an initial period of one (01) year with the option to extend for a further period of two (02) 12 months based on the satisfactory performance of the contractor, operational requirements and subject to mutual agreement.
