Abstract

People with a learning disability and/or autism and additional needs have the same right to citizenship as non-disabled people. This right to citizenship includes the right to be treated with dignity and respect, the right to have direction, the support and money needed to live a live in their community of choice, living with the people they choose to live with, having meaningful occupation and enjoying love and relationships. Essentially, an ‘Ordinary Life’. We are seeking providers who can offer support depending upon the needs and outcomes required by individuals. Services will either be residential nursing, residential, supported living, or day opportunities, dependent upon the needs of the identified individual or individual group. This is a flexible framework which will allow new entrants to gain access every 6 months or as often as required by the framework users. Call-off will be via mini-competition only and this may be across multiple lots.
