Covid-19 has caused a delay in LHC’s planned retendering procedure for PR3 pitched and FR2 flat roofing framework agreements, due to terminate on 30 June 2020 and 12 March 2021 respectively. This does not give LHC sufficient time to reprocure the combined RS4 roof services framework prior to 30 June 2020. We have extended the duration by 12 and 4 months respectively to maintain service to customers.

VII.2) Information about modifications
VII.2.1) Description of the modifications
We have extended the duration of the framework by 4 months to maintain service to customers whilst we carry out the Covid-19 delayed reprocurement of the combined flat and pitched roofing RS4 roofing systems framework. The extended framework will terminate on 24 June 2021.
VII.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
Due to the ongoing impact of the global Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic LHC have been unable to progress the procurement of a replacement for our existing PR3 — Pitched roofing and FR2 - Flat roofing framework agreements in line with their existing expiration dates. To ensure our clients are not left without a provision for these works during this uncertain time, LHC will extend the existing framework agreements by 12 and 3.5 months respectively to allow for the extended timescales needed to procure a new RS4 roofing systems framework agreement.
