II.2.4) Description of the procurement
A. The St Thomas Catholic Academies Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust comprising of 2 secondary schools and 6 primary schools located across Luton and Slough. This tender process relates to 5 of the schools within the Luton area as listed within paragraph C below.
B. The contract period will be for 3 years initially with the option to extend for two further 1 year periods.
C. The estimated full contract value over the maximum 5 year duration is expected to be in the region of GBP 3 500 000.
D. The services are to be provided at the following addresses:
• St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Primary School, Rotheram Avenue, Luton, LU1 5PP
• St Martin De Porres Catholic Primary School, Pastures Way, Luton, LU4 0PF
• Cardinal Newman Catholic School A Specialist Science College, Warden Hill Road, Luton, LU2 7AE
• St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Dunstable Road, Caddington, Luton, LU1 4BB
• St Vincent's Catholic Primary School, Hammersmith Gardens, Houghton Regis, Dunstable, LU5 5RG.
E. It is envisaged that there are members of staff within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) who will be eligible to TUPE across.
