II.1.4) Short description
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking training providers to deliver an adult training programme designed to encourage and support employed individuals into the Leeds City region key and growth sectors of digital, construction and engineering. The training will include employer input and engagement at every stage to ensure the content is ‘fit for purpose’ and gives direct lines of sight to progression and employment opportunities. The target learner audience will include career changers, returners and under-utilised graduates. For additional context please see https://futuregoals.co.uk/reboot/ Courses will be accredited and listed on the Regulation Qualification Framework (RQF). The provider/s must be able to offer a flexible delivery model of both face-to-face and virtual. Training programmes must be available to learners across Leeds City Region including York and North Yorkshire Delivery is anticipated to commence in October 2020 with an end date of December 2021 Applications from consortia will be encouraged, but suppliers cannot include any sub-contracting arrangements. The anticipated range of expenditure through this contract, which is estimated and not guaranteed will be from GBP 800 000-GBP 1.6 million. Please note that this procurement activity is a majority funded programme and its progression is subject to external funding and internal governance approvals. In order to provide more information and answer questions relating to this opportunity we would like to invite potential participants to a supplier engagement session on August 11th August 3-4 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
