2021/22 PLANNED MAINTENANCE – BOILER REPLACEMENT PROGRAMME

Description of the goods or services required

The works will comprise of undertaking Boiler, Radiators and Pipework replacements to meet Welsh Housing Quality Standards.

Works will include the removal of existing floor or wall mounted boilers and installation of new wall mounted Worcester Greenstar 25i/30i NG ERP Combination Boilers with service interval programmers. This includes an upgrade to the heating controls e.g. room thermostat, programmer, and thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) as required.

The Association will monitor the supplier’s performance in the following strategic areas and these may be used as part of the selection criteria when assessing the suitability of future tenders:

• KPI 1 – Customer Satisfaction (including tenant and/or client satisfaction)

• KPI 2 – Completion against agreed timescales

• KPI 3 – Completion in accordance with service or works information

• KPI 4 – Completion Defect Free – No of Defects identified on completion

• KPI 5 – Achievement of Community Benefits.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

included within the weighting of the scoring found within tender. Contractors shall be expected to donated either or both of voluntary hours on an identified community project or an agreed rebate.
