Cardiff University currently have legacy systems supporting corporate service activity in Finance and HR (including payroll, recruitment, learning etc). It has been acknowledged that the systems are not able to support the ambitious plans that both departments have in realising the strategic aims of the University moving forwards. The University wishes to explore a strategic outline business case to assess if an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology is suitable for the needs of the University and if not what the alternatives may be including best of breed.
