Building Repair Works at The Guildhall, Brecon

The works will necessitate scaffolding for high level works to the Guildhall, Brecon, Powys and will involve repairs to copings, overhauling and decoration to existing windows, replacing timber lintels, localised external render and internal plaster repairs and decoration etc.

Pricing contractors will need to return a priced copy of the schedule of works and proposed timescales.

Minimum standards and qualification required

Contractors will need to satisfactorily complete a Contractor Questionnaire and provide Risk Assessments/Method Statements along with insurance and accreditation evidence.

Brecon Town Council is committed to ensuring that all workers employed and sub-contracted receive at least the Living Wage (currently £9.90 per hour). This must apply to all workers carrying out work on our behalf of Brecon Town Council who are aged over 18 and provide a service involving 2 or more hours of work in any given day for 8 or more consecutive weeks in year.
