VII.2.1) Description of the modifications
The advertised value of the procurement has been increased by 120% from 2,100,000.00 GBP to 4,620,000.00 GBP
VII.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
This modification is being made under the provisions set out in Regulation 72 (1) (e). The value of the procurement/Contract has been increased by 120% from the advertised value to facilitate the unprecedented increased demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The increased value will allow the Contract to run to the expiry date of 31 October 2023
