II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Contracting Authority (Employer) is a registered provider of social housing with c. 25,000 homes.
The contract is being let because the current contract is coming to an end.
Contract term is five (5) years.
The scope of the services to be performed is: Domestic Gas Servicing, Maintenance and Installation and Non-domestic Gas Servicing and Maintenance Services.
The Contracting Authority requires a single suitably qualified Contractor experienced in providing similar services.
Requirements are described in the Specification.

(a) The Contracting Authority reserves the right not to award any contract pursuant to this procurement exercise and/or to abandon this procurement exercise at any time and/or to award a contract for part of the services at its sole discretion. The Contracting Authority shall have no liability whatsoever to any Potential Provider as a result of its exercise of that discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, all costs incurred by any Potential Provider before signature of any contract with the Contracting Authority shall be incurred entirely at that Potential Provider's risk.
