Justification:
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham was advised on 10th May 2023, that notice was served to cease the current contract for the provision of Leaseholder Insurance Cover on the 29th September 2023. This is due to the Council’s current insurer pulling out of the market due to losing its capacity provider.
In order to meet our obligations, it has become necessary to accelerate the procurement process to mitigate the risk of being uninsured for Leaseholder building insurance
