A VEAT notice was published on 22 June 2023 (Notice reference: 2023/S 000-017794). This was followed by a 10-day standstill period which ended at midnight on 03 July 2023.

New works/services, constituting a repetition of existing works/services and ordered in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the Directive
Explanation
The Council is extending the existing contract for the support and maintenance of its telephony system (Avaya) with its existing contractor as permitted under Regulation 72 (1) (b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This is while the intended re-procurement of the telephony system is carried out. The original contract notice can be found via Contract Finder reference IOW001-DN476151-89756771. The extension value constitutes less than 50% of the original contract value and the Council intends to begin the re-procurement of the telephony system as a whole shortly. The Council observed a 10-day standstill period which ended at midnight on 03rd July 2023.
