III.1) Conditions for participation
III.1.1) Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers
List and brief description of conditions:
Submissions in respect of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 5 will only be accepted from insurers regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to underwrite insurance business in the UK.
Submissions in respect of Lot 4 will also be accepted from suppliers who are UKAS accredited to provide the relevant services.
III.1.2) Economic and financial standing
List and brief description of selection criteria:
Credit Rating: Bidders in respect of Lots 1, 2, 3 or 5 must be rated at least “A minus (-)” with Standard & Poor's or equivalent rating with another ratings provider.
Insurance: Bidders must hold, or commit to obtain prior to the commence of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance stated in the Contract Notice.
Minimum level(s) of standards required:
Credit Rating: Rated at least “A minus (-)” with Standard & Poor's or equivalent rating with another ratings provider.
Insurance: Employer’s (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = 5,000,000 (five million) GBP; Public Liability Insurance = 10,000,000 (ten million) GBP; and Professional Indemnity Insurance = 5,000,000 (five million) GBP.
