The aim of the Prevention and Early Intervention Services is to support Enfield residents to access the right information and support, at the right time. This means that people are enabled to live independently for longer, with good outcomes and without the need for more intensive support from health or social care.

The Service is divided into five Lots with each Lot envisaged to have a separate contract. The 5 individual Lots are as follows:

Lot 1: Supporting Unpaid Carers

Lot 2: Supporting Independence through Information & Advice Digital Inclusion & Assistive Technology

Lot 3: Supporting Independence through Advocacy & Inclusion

Lot 4: Supporting Independence & Inclusion Through Early Intervention

Lot 5: Home from Hospital, Supporting Recovery & Maintaining Independence

The contracts are let for initial term of 3 years. The contracting authority, at its absolute sole discretion, may exercise an option to extend the contracts at the end of the initial term for two further period or periods of up to 3 years each, up to 9 years in total subject to contract and satisfactory performance.

The maximum annual budgets available for Year 1 and estimated full-term budgets, for each Lot, are set out as follows:

• Lot 1 - Supporting Unpaid Carers at an annual value of £359,500.00 and estimated full-term value of £3,235,500.00 (excluding VAT and inflation);

• Lot 2 - Supporting Independence through Information & Advice Digital Inclusion & Assistive Technology at an annual value of £452,726.00 and estimated full-term value of £4,074,534.00 (excluding VAT and inflation);

• Lot 3 - Supporting Independence through Advocacy & Inclusion at an annual value of £211,712.68 and estimated full-term value of £1,905,414.12 (excluding VAT and inflation);

• Lot 4 - Supporting Independence & Inclusion Through Early Intervention at an annual value of £319,817.00 and estimated full-term value of £2,878,353.00 (excluding VAT and inflation).

• Lot 5 - Home from Hospital Supporting Community Recovery at an annual value of £145,000.00 and estimated full-term value of £1,305,000.00 (excluding VAT and inflation.

In addition, the contracting authority reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary any of the Contract (Lot) to include services that are in scope and with the variation value not exceeding 50% of the current contract value.
