Abstract

Introduction At Social Care Wales, we manage projects using a variety of methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. Agile is currently the least utilised methodology within the organisation. What is required / ‘The requirements’ To strengthen our digital project delivery capability, we aim to integrate Agile practices more systematically within our Digital and Technology Team. To achieve this, we are seeking a supplier to design and deliver a hands-on Pilot Agile Mentoring Programme for approximately 4-5 staff members from Social Care Wales’s Digital and Technology Team over the next six months. We envisage the format to be small groups via MS Teams with a focus on both mindset and delivery skills. The supplier will: - Take a lead role in identifying and selecting live projects suitable for Agile delivery. - Provide practical education on Agile principles, frameworks and tools tailored to Social Care Wales’s needed. - Offer real-time, project-based mentoring to up-skill staff in applying Agile methodologies in practice. - Support the transfer of Agile delivery skills to build internal capability. - Build colleagues confidence to independently deliver Agile projects in the future. - Support the development of internal process for selecting and managing Agile projects after the programme concludes. - Take an approach that contains a blend of theoretical learning with practical delivery, enabling colleagues to immediately apply what they learn. - Ensure materials are provided in clear in English to facilitate accurate translation into Welsh. Social Care Wales will manage arrangements and associated costs related to Welsh language requirements. Please see specification for more detail
