Abstract

Create and design community artwork in various locations across Anglesey until December 2025. The main requirements of the tender winner will be: 1. To present attractive community artwork e.g. murals, street art, 3D art, floor art, bus stop art etc in order to promote the history, heritage and/or Welsh language on Anglesey. 2. Collaborate with communities and complete research to be able to weave suitable local knowledge into the artwork. 3. Be able to present bilingual information as part of the artwork if required. 4. Offering unique artistic ideas to celebrate areas and create pride in the communities.

Description of the goods or services required

Create and design community artwork in various locations across Anglesey until December 2025.

The main requirements of the tender winner will be:

1. To present attractive community artwork e.g. murals, street art, 3D art, floor art, bus stop art etc in order to promote the history, heritage and/or Welsh language on Anglesey.

2. Collaborate with communities and complete research to be able to weave suitable local knowledge into the artwork.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Applicants are required to submit an application for the tender stating the following:

5. Examples of experience of delivering art in different locations and on different materials/surfaces – providing photographs of these artworks is essential.

6. Undertake to complete the work within agreed reasonable time limits.

7. Willingness to collaborate and demonstrate flexibility to co-plan with communities across the Island in order to respond to their own requirements and ideas as well as contribute expertise.

8. Provide an approximate price on the hourly pay scale – bearing in mind that time is needed to negotiate with communities as part of the agreement e.g. £X per hour for planning and £X per hour for creation.
