Within the substation compound, excavations necessary for the construction of the civil works, the GIS building and associated services shall be backfilled with suitably engineered granular material.
Construction of all concrete foundations (mass and reinforced concrete).
Fabrication and erection of steel portal frame for the GIS building.
Supply and installation of the cladding system including all purlins, side rails and provision for anti-sag as required.
Supply and installation of all elements of the proposed drainage layout.
Construction of new substation access roads and areas of hard standing.
Excavation, installation and backfilling of all new ducted cables (including earthing and fibre optic) routes including the provision of cable tapes and/or protection boards.
