5.1 Additional Information

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

Adra aims to contribute to the development of the local economy and maximise the social value achieved via all of its activities, including procurement. Bidders who become our suppliers, contractors and service providers are expected to work in partnership with us in achieving maximum social value as part of the delivery of that specific agreement. A guide to this has been included within the tender pack.

Social value will be a scored part of a bidders’ tender submission. It is expected that bidders familiarise themselves with Adra’s Social Value priorities and reflect this in their social value submission. Please see Annex 4 of the ITT for further information relating to the evaluation criteria of social value submissions.

Social value submissions will form part of the eventual agreement with the successful bidder, and Adra will closely monitor delivery of the social value outcomes as part of its management of the agreement.

29/07/2026 16:37	Notice date(s) changed The Deadline date was changed from 03/08/2026 10:00 to 05/08/2026 10:00. The tender return deadline has been extended. Following a query raised by one of the tenderers, we have identified that a review of the pricing documentation is required. The nature of the query is in relation to inaccurate quantities within the current pricing documents on the SIKA flat roof element. In order to ensure all tenderers are pricing from the same verified information, able to submit commercially viable tenders and to maintain a fair and transparent tender process, we are currently reviewing the documentation and associated quantities. An updated pricing document will be issued by close of business on Friday the 31st of July. Accordingly, the tender return deadline has been extended to Wednesday the 5th of August. Please do not submit your tender until the revised pricing document has been issued, as any submissions made prior to the issue of the updated document may be based on superseded information. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued interest in the project.
