The Welsh Water Elan Trust (more commonly known as the Elan Valley Trust) are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced companies to undertake underslung airlifts of materials for our upcoming Peatland Restoration Works in September 2026, funded by National Peatland Action Programme, Natural Resources Wales, in Mid Wales.

Approximately 100 lifts of up to 800kg/lift of larch logs across a 5km distance.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

1) Evidence of previous experience in underslung load operations.

2) Employers Liability Insurance Policy.

3) Public Liability Insurance Policy.

4) All operators must have a suitable CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card / CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or equivalent.

5) All operators must hold the appropriate Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) from the Civil Aviation Authority.

6) Copy of health and safety policy.
