II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Caerphilly County Borough Council has awarded a contract for the provision of ParkMap Enhanced software, including licences, software support, maintenance and updates. The system is used to manage Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), parking restrictions, associated highway assets and mapping data. ParkMap Enhanced provides GIS-based functionality and integration with the Council's existing traffic management software systems. The contract has been awarded via the YPO framework for an initial period of 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

The award has been made via a compliant call-off from a YPO framework agreement which permits the award of contracts for software licences, support and maintenance services. The Council complied with the framework call-off provisions and therefore no separate procurement procedure was required.
