Abstract
Building on the successful Gower Ward pilot, Swansea Bay University Health Board has an opportunity to codify and scale a proven Model of Care Transformation methodology across acute sites. The programme will address the underlying drivers of workforce instability, high variable pay utilisation, staff unavailability, operational inefficiencies, and patient flow challenges through a structured approach to workforce redesign, roster optimisation, operational management, and cultural change.
This additional work is subject to a Joint Schedule 2 Variation Form to change the contract in accordance with Clause 24 of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework, Schedule 6 - SBU HB Financial & Operational Improvement Ref: RM6309
