To use the Council's subsidy to support the installation of chargers, and to match and extend our investment through private funding in delivering additional infrastructure.

The supplier will supply, install, connect, commission, operate and maintain a network of electric vehicle charge points on behalf of the Council across the Borough. Connected Kerb have been appointed on the basis that they will install a 960 new sockets in Bedford Borough, comprising 256 sockets specified by the Council in its EV charging strategy and a further 704 sockets funded by Connected Kerb. The contract will have a duration of 15 years.
