II.2.4) Description of the procurement

A single Supplier to provide educational learning support/ Assistive Support needs, for South Lanarkshire College students, this will require them to work one to one with students in or outwith the classroom.

This will enable students to progress and achieve on their courses by providing a range of support such as reading;notetaking;prompting;study skills and support in practical classes for those students who have a physical disability.

Communication Support Worker - To provide accurate interpretation for students using British Sign Language. To provide appropriate communication strategies to enable deaf students to integrate into their peer group and engage with their learning.

Question 4A.1 Please complete the questions on relevant professional or trade registers. This information will be used to assess the Tenderer is enrolled in the relevant professional membership or trade register. A fail will result in elimination from the procurement exercise.

Pass = The Tenderer has provided all relevant professional or trade register documentation outlined in PCS-Tender and has demonstrated required membership.

Fail = The Tenderer has not provided the required relevant professional or trade register documentation outlined in PCS-Tender or has provided the information, but this does not correctly demonstrate the sufficient professional membership or trade register required.

III.1.2) Economic and financial standing

Please complete “Economic and Financial Standing” in the Qualification Questionnaire in PCS-Tender.

Question 4B.6 Please complete the questions on financial accounts and supporting information. Successful Tenderer’s will be required to provide two years of audited accounts or equivalent prior to award to the Agreement. This information will be used to assess the Tenderers economic and financial standing and is deemed a minimum standard and is mandatory. A fail will result in elimination from the procurement exercise.

Experience in the provision of support to individuals with a range of disabilities, which may include Specific Learning Difficulties, Mental Ill Health, an Autism Spectrum Condition, Sensory Impairments or Mobility Impairments

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure a tactful and sensitive response to students Ability to establish clear boundaries in work practices with students Clear understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
